The last thing the owner of a newly constructed townhome wants to see in their home: disgusting roaches! So you are the owner of this new townhome and suddenly you're seeing roaches in your brand new home! How? This brand new construction can already have ants, large roaches, spiders and silver fish. So how does this happen. On today's edition of the DIY Naturepest Podcast, host and integrated pest control management expert Frank 'The Pestgeek' Hernandez explains how a beautiful brand new townhome can already be plagued by bugs. . First of all, it has been exposed to the weather for at least 12 months. More importantly, every product brought into this construction comes from warehouses where the chain of custody is unknown. In other words, we do not know if and how pests are being controlled at those warehouses. Material has been brought in from a lumber yard where there are insects. In fact, even in the completed construction, there are boxes and boxes that may be already infested with bugs. To make matters worse, there is food and water left behind.
